Walk the Walk
We are a 1000 acre organic working farm with native breeds and a heavy commitment to ecological and biodiversity enhancement. We have a year round and labelled west coast market garden. We have planted a 100ha native broadleaf woodland to which black grouse have returned and marsh fritillary butterflies are now breeding. Golden and White Tailed Eagles frequent our skies regularly. There is a magical, ancient Atlantic hazel rainforest at the eastern end of Inverlonan. We are rich with Neolithic and Iron Age relics: Strontoiller Stone Circle, 13 ft Clach Na Carraig standing stone, ancient burial grounds, duns and more. This is your playground. Get out and play.
Electric Bikes
We have 3 bikes available for hire (£40/80 for half /full day). Inverlonan sits on Route 78 (Caledonia Way) of the National Cycle Network. Glen Lonan is a stunning 12 mile long valley rooted in mythology and ancient history: The funeral corteges of the ancient kings of Scotland passed through it en route to burial on Iona – hence its moniker, ‘The Valley of the Kings’. Dodge the Highland cows and breathe ancient.
